NMMMA- How are you doing today MIke, and how is the training going?
MIKE- Good Morning George, first of all thank you for taking the time to ask me
some questions today. I am doing outstanding today, training is going even better. I
feel blessed and ready to go.
NMMMA- How long have you been training MMA and what is your training
MIKE-I have been training MMA since 2002. My background is I am a

NMMMA- Your fighting Ox Wheeler on Feb 26th, what do you know about him?
MIKE- Ox wheeler is a very tough, experienced unorthodox fighter that comes out of
a great camp with a great reputation. As I understand it he is a classy fighter, always
ready to fight, like myself. It should make for a great fight.
NMMMA- What weight are you guys fighting at?
MIKE- We will be fighting at 135.
NMMMA- Who was your toughest fight to date?
MIKE- My toughest fight to date has been my friend Abel Cullum (KOTC champ).
Even though every single one of my match ups have been really tough, great
fighters (never any slow or inexperienced fighters) Abel Cullum was a definitely my
NMMMA- What do you do on fight day?
MIKE- Usually on fight day I try to chill and relax, go over game plan and surround
myself with family and friends to take the edge off. Closer to the fight comes the
warm up and last minute game plan from my trainers.
NMMMA- What are some of your goals in MMA fighting?
MIKE- My goals in MMA are to make it a career. I aim to take it as far as I can go
physically and healthy. Longevity in this sport is my goal and to perform to the
potential I know I have or am capable of. Basically go all the way until I can no
NMMMA- What made you want to fight in the cage?
MIKE- Well I've been doing martial arts since I was 5 years old. This is the pinnacle
of our sport so naturally I was drawn to it and never regretted it since. I am truly
happy fighting and training, especially since my family is on board and supportive.
NMMMA- Who are you training partners for this fight?
MIKE- My fight team "Hayashis fight team"
